A solar lamp is a lamp that uses solar energy as a source of electrical energy. Usually, this solar lamp is equipped with several components in order to work optimally, which consists of an LED lamp, a solar panel, and a rechargeable battery. This tool is also known as LED solar panel lights.
Regarding how it works, the LED solar panel lights will be on from 6 pm to 6 am, depending on the sunrise and sunset in the area. Turning the lights on or off can be done automatically, either using a light sensor or a timer.
The lamp power regulation is carried out by the SCC (Solar Charger Controller). This component will regulate the discharge process (energy to the lamp so that it can light up) and charge (energy to the battery from the solar panel). As long as this process occurs without problems, the lamp can function properly to provide illumination.
In Indonesia, the application of solar lamps is dominated by PJU lamps (Public Street Lighting), because they are located on the side of the road. For example, protocol highways, along toll roads, residential areas, industrial areas, and other public facilities. Not only that, the application of solar lights is also appropriate for remote areas that have not been reached by the PLN electricity network, as well as for those of you who want to do energy efficiency at home.
