- NYM
The second type of power cable is NYM. This type of electrical cable is often used for electrical installation cables in homes or buildings and power systems. The NYM type of power cable has a PVC insulating layer which is usually white or gray in color. This type of cable has 2, 3 or 4 cores.
NYM cable has two layers of insulation, so the level of security is better than NYA cable. This type of power cord can be used in both dry and wet environments, but should not be planted.
- NYMHYO
The NYMHYO type of power cable is a type of fiber cable with a core of two fibers. This cable is usually used for sound systems, loudspeakers, and virtual video. NYMHYO cables are not designed for high-voltage electrical installations and are for indoor use only.
- NYMHY/NYYHY
The last type of power cord is NYMHY/NYYHY. NYMHY is white and NYYHY is black. This type of cable is usually used for installation in a house that is not permanent, because it is flexible and not easily broken.
This type of cable is especially recommended for connecting household appliances that are often moved and must be in a dry place. This cable has heat-resistant plastic insulation up to 85 degrees Celsius.
